My brother's wedding is in 3 days and i still need to find a bottom for my kebaya nyonya. Never thought buying a kebaya nyonya can be such a where-in-the-world kind of trouble thingey. I bought my kebaya nyonya already but i found out that the bottom is very ugly. I wouldnt wear it. Realli. It's not the way i wanted it to be. So i went in search of just the bottom. I want it kain batik and tight. So i went to tampines becos i saw this stall selling those kebaya nyonyas but when i got there the stall wasnt there any more. I'm like "oh shit, it's still geylang after all.."
Went to have breakfast and hopped on 67 to geylang serai's temporary market and holy batterymoni! No shops selling nice kebaya nyonya's bottom. I'm like, what happened to tradition? Urgh. It was so frustrating. And i bet the heat's making Ayang's frustrated too. Erm..that's probably because i go round that place like 3 times? Well i was just making sure i didnt miss any shops that might sell that bottom! I so desperately needed it for the wedding.
And i was realli about to cry and give up when Ayang insist on searching it at Tanjong Katong Complex? Like i cant remember the name but what the heck.
And BAM!!
There it was! The bottom! Nicely displayed
on a mannequin (erm..how do i spell it? pronounced as manner-queen.. ) So i went to ask the lady and she said $99! 99 dollars?! just for a freaking simple-designed-fake-diamonds-with-gold-lining bottom. No way! Me and Ayang just looked at each other and walked away. The next few shops along the row was all selling makcik makcik's dresses and stuff. And then again! I saw this nice old fashion kebaya nyonya in one of the shops. And they had my size! Finally! Dragged Ayang to the shop and then tried the bottom on. It fits perfectly! And its half the price of the bottom we saw at the previous shop. How thrilling. It's like a baby's first ice cream.
s I L E N C E . .
Well yea maybe I'm so dramatic about it but still...
And then we went back home happy. Well i did. Ayang's too sleepy to say anything. But i did forget to buy food for my little hamsters. woops! keke!!
All's done and i cant wait for that day i'm wearing my kebaya nyonya. Pretty pretty!
The End, Shit. There's more next time. D`uh!

Im as dead as living.
I'm not the person you thought I was.
I never was.
I never will be.
Sorry for letting you down.
Sorry you have to find out.
But you'll never know me.
And you'll never know my deepest darkest desires.
